knit sweater pattern

I have chosen the following pattern samples because they are the easiest patterns for a beginner knitter. Knitting parties also are becoming popular in small and large communities around the U.

A third but less common method, called combination knitting, may also be used. You could even teach a "keep up" class where people who have completed all three classes meet once a month or bimonthly to keep in touch with knitting. I love the new kids needles that are about 7 inches long.

The stitches are much the same as the baby blanket design, but the final product is nearly twice as large. Hem top should be knitted by taking a stitch from the first row, and should be hanged on the needle. After all, it is the experience of knitting that we are seeking, more so than the finished-object.

You'll be amazed at how much faster the second, third, and fourth version of the same pattern can be. Keep looking around this site for lots of tips, patterns, resources and ideas.
