free knit pattern sweater

Knitting is the oldest craft among all the crafts. I have chosen the following pattern samples because they are the easiest patterns for a beginner knitter.

Start with the knitting needle with the cast on stitches in your left hand. I love the new kids needles that are about 7 inches long. The two extra stitches add balance to the pattern.

To start you can even make some simple combination of stitches. Hem top should be knitted by taking a stitch from the first row, and should be hanged on the needle. I learned a lot from a great book I discovered a while back.

Even if you're a pretty proficient knitter, this isn't the time to learn a new technique or work with a skinny fingering-weight yarn that will take forever to knit up. But, that's the essence of knitting.
